Brothers Grimm Beer from Baron Brewing
I liked the stories, hated the movie, but what about the beer? Yes, you heard that right, it’s time to toss a few back with Rapunzel, Hansel, Gretel and Cinderella with some Brothers Grimm Beer!
The Baron Brewing Company in Seattle is introducing a line of six very rare big beers which will be available in limited edition 22oz bottles. Every special beer will represent a folk tale from the Grimm Brothers collection.
- Seven Swabians Eisbock – 13% abv and promises to melt your face off. In a good way, of course.
- Rumpelstiltskin Rauch Doppelbock – big, bold, smoked doppelbock with a blast of smokiness.
- Bremen Town Musicians Big Doppelbock – like Baron Liberator on steroids!
- Rapunzel WeizenStarkBier – huge wheat doppelbock guaranteed to make your hair grow.
- Juniper Tree Klosterbock – take on the monastery bocks from Germany.
- Frog King Winter Bock – bock fit for a king AND queen!
If you’re in the Seattle area this weekend, the folks at Baron will be holding a beer tasting a weenie roast, where you’ll be able to get your first taste of the Baron Seven Swabians Eisbock.
They’re saying that “Very few cases will be sold outside of the brewery,so this may be your only chance to pick a few up before it is gone. The Eisbock is very limited and very few cases have been bottled it is very likely all the bottles will sell out that day.”
