Patagonia Negra Intensa and Antares Brews to be Distributed in the U.S.
Aladdin Beverage, which currently distributes Devassa from Brazil, Kross from Chile, Green Man from New Zealand and Patagonia from Argentina, is expanding their offerings with two new brews from South America: Patagonia Negra Intensa and Antares Beer.
Antares Beer is Argentina’s fastest-growing premium beer from New Patagonia Brewery and is “specially brewed to be extra smooth and less grassy, Antares is a refreshing, full flavored, super premium lager.”
Brewed at the New Patagonia Brewery in the southernmost region of Latin America, at Mar del Plata, Argentina, the brewery’s offerings include: Kolsch Beer, Scotch Ale Beer, Porter Beer, Imperial Stout beer, and Barley Wine Beer. All are available both in 330ml and 600 ml amber glass bottles.
As for Patagonia Negra Intensa, it is an exotic, dark stout that will reportedly be available in late summer. It can be compared in style to Negra Modelo, Mexico’s top selling dark beer, which sold 3.2 million cases in the U.S. in 2006. Patagonia Negra Intensa’s flavor originates from dark-roasted, pure malted special barleys with a cross of sweet and bitter flavors.
